The Client

“A district attorney out for a conviction. A new lawyer out of her league. A young boy who knew too much.”

Mark Sway (Brad Renfro), a street-wise kid in Memphis, only wants to keep what he heard in a Louisiana lawyer's last minutes to himself. Both the FBI, led by prosecutor Roy Foltrigg (Tommy Lee Jones), and the Mafia want it out of him. Joel Schumacher puts him with Reggie Love (Susan Sarandon), the one lawyer he hires, and what grows between them is trust that neither of them planned on.
