Hammer (Groucho Marx) runs a Florida hotel during the land boom, taking in guests and auctioning off lots to anyone who will bid. Red (Harpo Marx) and Pastrami (Chico Marx) check in on the same hunt for easy money, and a jewel thief is working the hallways. Robert Florey and Joseph Santley, the first two directors credited on a sound film, shoot it like a stage show with Irving Berlin songs.
