The Colour Room

“Her pottery made history, her story broke every rule.”

What is a girl from a Stoke-on-Trent pottery floor doing with a brush and a pot of bright paint in the 1920s? Clarice Cliff (Phoebe Dynevor) is a young decorator whose work catches the eye of Colley Shorter (Matthew Goode), the man who runs the factory. Claire McCarthy sets the story against the pottery industry itself, and the colour spreads out from one worker's bench.
