The Columnist

“Why can't we just have different opinions and be nice about it?”

Femke Boot (Katja Herbers) writes a newspaper column and wants to finish her next book, but the abuse pouring in on social media keeps pulling her away from the page. The threats are constant and anonymous, and eventually she decides to go after the people sending them. Ivo van Aart plays her campaign with a straight face, and the risk is that Femke will lose the life she is trying to protect, including her teenage daughter Anna (Claire Porro).
