The Comedian

“nobody's a bargain”

Audiences keep calling Jackie Burke (Robert De Niro) by the name of the sitcom character he played decades ago, and the crowd wants nothing else from him. After he goes after a heckler, a judge sentences him to community service, where he meets Harmony (Leslie Mann), the daughter of a Florida real estate mogul. Taylor Hackford leaves Jackie alone with the microphone, an old comic in front of a room that only wants the other man.
