The Comics

Two silent movie actors, Paolo (Paolo Villaggio) and Renato (Renato Pozzetto), somehow step out of their own film and into the real world. They have no money, no plan and no way to talk their way out of anything, so every person they meet ends up paying for it, a priest (Enzo Cannavale) and a bride and groom among them. Neri Parenti keeps the two bound together, a pair of strangers to everyone else and each other's only company.
