“You Choose Your Family”

Copenhagen in the 1970s, and Erik (Ulrich Thomsen) and Anna (Trine Dyrholm) inherit a huge house that is far too big for one family. They fill it with friends and strangers who share a taste for free living, and Thomas Vinterberg lets the dinner-table talk and house meetings pile up around them. Erik and Anna have to make their new rules hold against their old habits, and their marriage and the household they built are both at risk.
