The Company of Wolves

(1984)Directed by Neil Jordan95 min · RHorror, Fantasy
“The Desire...The Fantasy...The Nightmare.”

In a village at the edge of dark woods, Rosaleen (Sarah Patterson) dreams her way through the stories her Granny (Angela Lansbury) tells her. In them, innocent maidens are tempted by wolves who are hairy on the inside. Neil Jordan builds the dream from the Angela Carter tales, and Rosaleen is growing into womanhood, which is when the wolves may come for her.
