Akino (Natsumi Kawaida) is a new concierge in training at the Hokkyoku Department Store, a shop that serves only animals, furry and feathered alike. Her customers include a sea mink hunting for a special gift and a laughing owl who wants to please his wife, and some of them belong to species on the extinct list. Yoshimi Itazu lets Akino take each request seriously, and her patience with them is what carries her through the day.
