“At twice the speed of sound, can the Concorde evade attack?”

A Concorde crosses the Atlantic toward Paris with a full passenger list and Joe Patroni (George Kennedy), the veteran troubleshooter, called in to deal with trouble over the Alps. Paul Metrand (Alain Delon) is at the controls, with Kevin Harrison (Robert Wagner) and Maggie Whelan (Susan Blakely) among those relying on him. David Lowell Rich keeps the cameras close on the cockpit and the cabin, so every alarm feels a few feet away.
