The Confessions

At a luxury hotel on the German coast, the G8 finance ministers and economists have gathered to settle provisions that will shape the world economy. Daniel Roché (Daniel Auteuil), head of the International Monetary Fund, summons a quiet Italian monk, Roberto Salus (Toni Servillo), to hear his confession in secret that night. Roberto Andò places one man of prayer among the most powerful people in the world, and by morning Roché is found dead.
