The Connection

“Marseille 1975. To stop a dangerous drug lord, you need a dangerous cop.”

Marseille in the 1970s is a port city where the heroin trade runs openly, and magistrate Pierre Michel (Jean Dujardin) arrives newly transferred to help break it. His target is Gaëtan "Tany" Zampa (Gilles Lellouche), the man said to run the whole operation and to be beyond the law's reach. Cédric Jimenez sets the two on a collision course, each as stubborn and sure of himself as the other.
