“Darkness has awakened”

Caroline (Gia Hunter) wants to save her daughter from a dark entity that medicine and priests cannot remove. When a nun arrives at their home, Sister Esperanza (Fernanda Romero) does not perform the rituals anyone expects, but instead asks questions that cast doubt on what possession means. By the end, Caroline must decide what she believes and what it will cost her to act on that belief.
