“This summer, get your grill on!”

In 2004, Todd Anderson (Quran Pender) signs a $30 million deal with the New Jersey Nets, his hometown team, and moves into a big new house. He decides to throw a barbecue like the ones his family used to have, then finds his agents, product reps, old friends and relatives all crowded into the same yard. Lance Rivera fills the party with Ja Rule, Tim Meadows and Jenifer Lewis, and Todd has to keep his own life straight in the middle of it.
