The Corpse Vanishes

“Horror to make your hair stand on end!”

Young brides keep collapsing at their own weddings, and by the time the guests look again, the bodies are gone. Patricia Hunter (Luana Walters), a newspaper reporter, follows the cases toward Dr. Lorenz (Bela Lugosi), a scientist who needs the brides' gland fluid to keep his wife young. Wallace Fox films Lugosi in his dark house, Countess Lorenz (Elizabeth Russell) beside him, her face smooth and pale.
