The Counterfeiters

During the Second World War, Sachsenhausen concentration camp houses a secret workshop where Nazi Germany plans to forge Bank of England pound notes. Salomon Sorowitsch (Karl Markovics), a Jewish counterfeiter, is pulled from the general camp population to work among prisoners with the skills the operation needs. Stefan Ruzowitzky sets him against Burger (August Diehl), who would sooner see the forgery fail, and every prisoner's life depends on the work.
