(1938)Directed by H. C. Potter91 minComedy, Romance, Western
“MERLE ropes Gary! GARY brands Merle!”

A young woman has lived her whole life shut indoors, and with her father off campaigning for the presidency she slips away to the family house in West Palm Beach, hoping to do one wild thing. Mary Smith (Merle Oberon) ends up tangled with Stretch Willoughby (Gary Cooper), a plain-spoken cowboy who has no idea who she is. H. C. Potter's film leaves her with a cowboy and a famous father on opposite sides of the choice she has to make.
