The Creatures

Edgar Piccoli (Michel Piccoli), a science fiction writer, wants to turn the odd inhabitants of a small island into the characters of his new book. His wife Mylène (Catherine Deneuve) has lost her voice in a car accident and communicates only by writing. Agnès Varda moves between the couple's days and the pages Edgar is composing until the two start to blur.
