The Criminal

“The toughest picture ever made in Britain!”

Somewhere out of reach lies the money from a racetrack robbery, and the only man who knows where is Johnny Bannion (Stanley Baker), back in prison after a job that went wrong. The police want it, and so does the gang, led by Frank Saffron (Grégoire Aslan). Joseph Losey shows a prison where everyone in the yard has a price, and a secret is the only thing Johnny owns.
