The Criminal Life of Archibaldo de la Cruz
In 1955 Mexico, Archibaldo de la Cruz (Ernesto Alonso) is a well-off man who has wanted one thing since childhood: to be a famous killer of women. Luis Buñuel sets him among the women he courts, including Lavinia (Miroslava) and Patricia Terrazas (Rita Macedo), and lets the dark joke play out in a deadpan, fevered key. Archibaldo is patient and polite, and he never doubts his calling.
