The Curse of La Llorona

“She wants your children.”

Anna Tate-Garcia (Linda Cardellini) is a social worker in 1973 Los Angeles, a widowed mother raising two kids while keeping other people's children safe. A visit to a troubled mother, Patricia Alvarez (Patricia Velásquez), draws her family toward La Llorona, and Michael Chaves, directing his first feature, brings in a priest, Rafael Olvera (Raymond Cruz). Anna's children sleep down the hall, and the night waits outside.
