The Curse of the Cat People

In a quiet suburb, six-year-old Amy Reed (Ann Carter) has no friends and drifts through her days in a world of her own making. Her parents Oliver (Kent Smith) and Alice (Jane Randolph) worry, while Amy befriends the ghost of Irena (Simone Simon), her father's first wife, and an aging actress who lives alone. Gunther von Fritsch and Robert Wise, in his first film as director, treat Amy's imaginings as plain fact.
