“Love stings”

A night out with the office ends with a stage magician snapping his fingers and putting two coworkers under without either of them knowing. CW Briggs (Woody Allen) is a veteran insurance investigator, and Betty Ann Fitzgerald (Helen Hunt) is the new efficiency expert sent to reorganize his department. Allen sets them bickering across the desks, and Briggs, the man with a long record of solved cases, has no idea what he has been made to do.
