In 1964, an expedition has opened the Tomb of Ra-Antef, and the American showman Alexander King (Fred Clark) is determined to carry its treasures around the world on a public tour. The experts warn him off, and Michael Carreras follows the show to its opening night, when the sarcophagus is found empty. John Bray (Ronald Howard) and Adam Beauchamp (Terence Morgan) are among the men who disturbed the grave, and they now wait to learn what the curse wants from them.
