The Dancer
Loïe Fuller (Soko), a young woman from the American Midwest, wants a stage of her own and the dance no one else has made. Stéphanie Di Giusto follows her to Paris at the turn of the 20th century, where the Serpentine Dance and her new lighting techniques make her the toast of the Folies Bergère. When Isadora Duncan (Lily-Rose Depp) arrives as her protégé, the film shows how closely fame and rivalry sit together.
