The Dark

“An alien mutilator stalks and kills human prey during the night.”

Night after night in Los Angeles, a killer the papers call the Mangler cuts down random victims and leaves them mutilated. Roy Warner (William Devane), who lost his daughter to the killings, hunts the street with a detective, Dave Mooney (Richard Jaeckel), and a TV reporter, Zoe Owens (Cathy Lee Crosby). John "Bud" Cardos leaves them alone in the dark with a psychic named DeRenzy, the one person who knows what the thing is.
