The Dark

“One of the living for one of the dead.”

On a stretch of the Welsh coast, Adèlle (Maria Bello) brings her young daughter Sarah to see her father, hoping the visit will hold the family together. The morning after they arrive, Sarah disappears into the ocean. John Fawcett's film follows Adèlle as a girl who looks just like Sarah turns up with a claim that Sarah has been taken to the Welsh underworld, and the only way back is through whatever took her.
