The Dark House

Poland, 1978. Edward Środoń (Arkadiusz Jakubik), a zootechnician, makes a stop at the Dziabas family farm in the remote Bieszczady Mountains, years before a militia team examines a crime scene there on a winter day under Martial Law. Wojtek Smarzowski cuts between the two periods as the investigation moves back toward that first visit. Środoń is a man who never meant to be here.
