The Dark Mirror

“Twins! One who loves... one who loves to Kill!”

A doctor is found dead, and Lieutenant Stevenson (Thomas Mitchell) has a witness who places Terry Collins at the scene. Her twin, Ruth, was somewhere else, and both women (Olivia de Havilland) swear to it. Robert Siodmak shoots the sisters' matching faces in hard shadow, so every question the detective asks leaves the viewer less sure which one is answering.
