The Dark Tower

“There are other worlds than these.”

Jake Chambers (Tom Taylor) keeps dreaming of a tower, a man in black, and a gunslinger in a desert, and nobody believes him. The visions lead him to another world, where Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), the last gunslinger, is hunting Walter O'Dim (Matthew McConaughey), who wants the Dark Tower brought down. Nikolaj Arcel cuts the story fast, moving between worlds in a rush of short scenes.
