“A comedy... to die for.”

In San Francisco, Michael Burrows (Joseph Fiennes) loses his place on the police force after he botches the capture of a notorious serial killer. He takes a job as an insurance investigator and is paired with Siri Taylor (Winona Ryder), a cynical field agent, to look into deaths that are suspicious and strange. Finn Taylor plays the whole run of odd cases in a dry, level tone and leaves the absurdity to speak for itself.
