The Daughter

“It Takes An Outsider To See The Truth Inside.”

Christian (Paul Schneider) comes home to a dying logging town for the wedding of his father Henry (Geoffrey Rush), who owns the timber mill. He looks up his boyhood friend Oliver (Ewen Leslie), now out of work, and gets to know Oliver's wife Charlotte, their daughter Hedvig, and his father Walter. Simon Stone adapts Ibsen's *The Wild Duck* here, and the family's quiet house sits in a town that is closing down around it.
