The Day After

On her first morning at a small publishing house, Ahreum (Kim Min-hee) is told she has replaced a woman who ended an affair with the boss. Then Bongwan's wife (Cho Yun-hee) finds a love note, storms into the office, and takes Ahreum for the other woman. Hong Sang-soo makes it plain that people hear what they already fear, and a stranger's face is enough to carry it.
