The Day of Destruction

Seven years ago, a monster was found deep in a rural coal mine, and ever since the small town has lived with rumors of a plague and a mental illness no one can explain. Toshiaki Toyoda follows Teppei Sekiya (Kiyohiko Shibukawa), a young Shugendo practitioner who goes missing and comes back changed, determined to drive the monsters out of the world. Shibukawa stands in the town's quiet, the mine still sitting beneath it.
