The Dead Don't Die

“The greatest zombie cast ever disassembled.”

Centerville is a sleepy town where everyone knows everyone, and the police force is three people. Chief Cliff Robertson (Bill Murray) and Officer Ronnie Peterson (Adam Driver) go about their small routines until the dead start climbing out of the ground, and Jim Jarmusch plays the whole thing in a flat, unhurried voice. The film is about a town that watches its own ending coming and mostly shrugs.
