The Dead Girl

“One life ends. Seven others begin.”

Arden (Toni Collette) wants to know whether the body found in a field is her missing sister, and the question sends her toward strangers she has never met. Karen Moncrieff tells it in chapters, each following a different woman, among them Leah (Rose Byrne), a medical student, and Krista (Brittany Murphy). Their lives touch the same death from different sides, and none of them can see how much grief the others are carrying.
