The Death & Life of John F. Donovan

Rupert Turner (Jacob Tremblay) is a young boy who wants one thing, a reply from his favorite TV star, and so he writes to John F. Donovan (Kit Harington). Xavier Dolan tells it from ten years later, with a grown Rupert looking back on the letters, while his mother Sam (Natalie Portman) and the tabloid press circle the friendship. Donovan is at the height of his fame and keeps those letters close, a private life he can't afford to have noticed.
