“IT'S FULL OF THRILLS!”

Franklyn Drew (David Manners) is a studio writer who finds himself in the middle of a murder on a working movie lot when a leading actor is shot dead during production. Edwin L. Marin follows Drew as he tags along with the police, while Marcia Lane (Adrienne Ames) and studio manager Joseph Steiner (Bela Lugosi) are drawn into the questioning. Drew keeps asking questions the studio would rather he dropped, since publicity is the thing it wants to protect.
