The Decoy Bride

“You may now kiss the decoy.”

Katie Nic Aodh (Kelly Macdonald) lives on the fictional Scottish island of Hegg and wants only to be left alone with her writing. Instead she is hired as a decoy to lure the paparazzi away from Lara Tyler (Alice Eve), a Hollywood actress who has come there to marry James Arber (David Tennant). Sheree Folkson directs it as a plain, friendly comedy, with the island itself doing much of the work.
