The Deep
Gulli (Ólafur Darri Ólafsson) is a fisherman in Iceland who wants only to get through another season on a small trawler with his crewmates, including Palli (Joi Johannsson). Baltasar Kormákur sets the film in 1984, when Gulli's boat capsizes off the south coast and leaves him in the freezing sea. Six hours in the water, dark and cold, the shore somewhere beyond him.
