“One of the most important and powerful films of all time!”

In Clairton, Pennsylvania, a Russian-American steel town, three mill workers drink and hunt together until they are sent to Vietnam, one with a hurried wedding behind him. Michael Cimino sets the weddings and the deer season against the war that waits for them. Michael Vronsky (Robert De Niro) leads his friends Nick (Christopher Walken) and Steven (John Savage) overseas, still sure of his place among them.
