Lincoln Bloom (Shayne Gray) is a middle-class white teenager in Memphis with a hidden life, and the place where he goes to live it is a gay cruising spot. There he meets Minh Nguyen (Thang Chan), a Vietnamese immigrant who is also black, and the two quickly find out how little they share. Ira Sachs shot the film on 16 mm in Memphis, and the grain sits over every face.
