“They're outsiders beating the odds.”

Moritz wants his old life back: his parents together, his spot on the soccer team. Instead he has neither, and he sets out to build a new team from whatever boys will join him. Granz Henman fills the film with a crowded cast of grown-ups, among them Moritz' Mother (Diana Amft), Moritz' Father (Benno Fürmann) and Mr. Rothkirch (Armin Rohde), and the story stays on one kid with a ball and a lot to prove.
