The Diary of Anne Frank
“Hollywood has never made a greater suspense story... a more tender love story... or a finer human drama!”
In Nazi-occupied Amsterdam, eight people vanish into the rooms above a business and must stay silent to stay hidden. Anne Frank (Millie Perkins) is thirteen, and she shares the cramped attic with her family and the Van Daans, among them Petronella (Shelley Winters) and her son Peter (Richard Beymer). George Stevens builds the story from Anne's diary, and she writes because it is the one place she can still say what she thinks.
