A sun-soaked retirement community in Florida has discovered pickleball, and Dustin 'The Hammer' Boyd (Jake Johnson) wants to win the regional championship. He assembles a team with Candace (Mary Steenburgen), a sharp-tongued former athlete, along with Marisa (Chloe Fineman), PJ (Aaron Chen), and Skip 'Piggy' Pigliani (Patton Oswalt). Josh Greenbaum shoots the whole thing like an underdog sports film crossed with a love letter to second acts.
