The Dinner Game

“A feast for the senseless.”

Every Wednesday, Pierre Brochant (Thierry Lhermitte) and his friends each bring a guest to dinner, and whoever turns up with the most spectacular idiot wins. This week Brochant thinks he has found the champion in François Pignon (Jacques Villeret), a man who has a way of bringing on catastrophes. Francis Veber, adapting his own play, keeps the camera close and lets the talk and the timing carry it.
