The Discord

Guillaume Daubray-Lacaze (Louis de Funès) runs a small factory in a French provincial town, and his invention sucks dirt out of the air into balloons and ships them far away. After a boozy dinner, Japanese businessmen order 5,000 units, so he sets up production in the family home. Claude Zidi puts Guillaume's wife Bernadette (Annie Girardot) in the middle of the mess, and when her own life gets pushed aside, she decides to run for mayor against him.
