The Do-Over

“Dying was their first mistake.”

Charlie (David Spade) is a bank manager who wants out of a life that has gone flat, and then Max Kessler (Adam Sandler), a friend from his past, shows up with a way to disappear. Max talks him into faking both their deaths and starting over under new names, which turns into a run of chases and near misses. Steven Brill keeps the film loud and fast, built around Sandler and Spade bickering through every scrape.
