The Doors

“The ceremony is about to begin.”

In the 1960s, Los Angeles fills with young bohemians, and a film student named Jim Morrison (Val Kilmer) starts writing songs and forming a band with Ray Manzarek (Kyle MacLachlan), Robby Krieger (Frank Whaley) and John Densmore (Kevin Dillon). Oliver Stone follows the Doors from their first shows to the size of crowds that treat Morrison as a prophet. Through all of it, Pamela Courson (Meg Ryan) stays close to him, loving a man who keeps pulling away.
