The Double Hour

“A romance. A robbery. A mystery.”

Sonia (Kseniya Rappoport), a chambermaid in Turin, goes to a speed dating event and sits down across from Guido (Filippo Timi), a former cop who now works as a security guard. They fall into a relationship quickly, and he takes her to a country estate for a romantic getaway. Giuseppe Capotondi's film turns on what a person's past does to the present, and how little of either two people know when they begin.
